In a statement, emailed to the press, it said that Salahudin had never contacted any official of a government, non-government or security agency.
Hizbul Mujahideen Friday termed the assertions of former R&AW chief A S Dulat a “lie taller than Himalayas” in which he had said that the outfit Chief Syed Salahudin asked Intelligence Bureau (IB) to get a medical seat for his son.
In a statement, emailed to the press, it said that Salahudin had never contacted any official of government, non-governmental or security agency.
Saleem Hashmi, a spokesperson of the Muzaffarabad-based outfit, said that the remarks are unfounded and that they have been made with a motive of creating doubts in the minds of common people vis-à-vis the freedom struggle of Kashmiris.
Salahudin’s son got a seat after appearing in the entrance test on the basis of merit,” he said.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir know that Indian intelligence agencies and policymakers can go to any extent to weaken the freedom struggle.”
