Jammu, July 4, : Claiming that training camps across the border are still functional, Army Saturday said that militants are hell bent to disrupt the ongoing Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir.
General Officer Commanding of Nagrota-based 16 Corps, Lieutenant General KH Singh said army is aware of militants “trying” to cross the border to “create problems” during the Amarnath Yatra, “which will be dealt with”. While claiming that army is trying to carry out more “people friendly” operations, Lt Gen Singh said “there are approximately 36 launch pads and the training camps are also acting”.
He added that militants are rearing to cross the Line of Control (LoC) to “create problems” during the Amarnath Yatra. (CNS)
