SRINAGAR, JULY 05, 2015 – Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, today congratulated the eight candidates from J&K who successfully cracked the prestigious UPSC examinations, results of which were announced on Saturday.
“My heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates who qualified country’s premier examination, especially those from J&K State, who made it to the list this year,” Mufti Sayeed said.
Conveying his best wishes to Baseer-ul-Haq, Afaq Ahmad Giri, Mohammad Yasin, Prayati Sharma, Deeba Farhat, Athar Amir-ul-Shafi Khan, Irfan Hafiz and Ruveda Salam, the Chief Minister hoped that they will become role models and inspiration for many aspiring students tomorrow. “There stories have been ones of commitment, passion and single-minded devotion to achieve their goals,” he said.
The Chief Minister especially lauded the effort of Athar Amir-ul-Shafi, a resident of Mattan in Anantnag district, who qualified the prestigious examination at a young age of 22.
The Chief Minister hoped that the candidates will emulate their success while disseminating their official duties and providing succour to the people.
