Shiv Sena has expressed concern over growing population of Muslims in India saying that “it could affect the national unity of our country”. The party in its mouth piece Saamna asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to advise the Muslim community in India to respect law and adopt family planning.
The editorial of Saamna said, “Not only in Assam and small north-eastern states but the Muslim population is also increasing in big states like Haryana and Delhi. Shiv Sena believes, by increasing population, Muslims want to capture the Hindu Rashtra.”
The editorial said that PM Modi should now take an initiative to control the growing population of Muslims.
“If Muslims think they are Indians then they have to follow law of the land – which is ‘Parivaar Niyojan’. Now the time has come for Central government and PM Modi to knock the doors of Muslims and instruct them to follow the rules and control the population…,” It said.
