Pulwama, Sep 3: For the first time over two decade long militancy, National Investigation Agency (NIA)Thursday announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh on information leading to the arrest of a wanted militant Abu Okasha, the militant allegedly responsible for the Udhampur attack which claimed the lives of two BSF personnel.
The NIA posters carrying the photograph of non-local militant Okasha were seen pasted at many places in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. “Aged between 18 and 19 years, Abu Okasha is a resident of Khyber pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan,” read the message written on the posters. The identity of the person who provided information on Okasha will be kept secret, it added.
Pertinently, Two BSF men and an attacker had died while more than a dozen troopers were injured in the exchange of fire.
