Peeved at for being properly invited to the inauguration function of 10 MGD Sukhnag Water Supply Scheme in his constituency today, MLA Khansahab Hakeem Mohammad Yasin has sent a protest letter to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed complaining that “protocol of a elected public representative was breached”. “Yes, I wrote a protest letter to Chief Minister after I was not invited to an official function of the inauguration of Sukhnag Water Supply Scheme,” Yasin told KNS. “As the concerned MLA I should have been there as per the protocol.” He said the foundation stone of the water supply scheme was laid during previous government by then minister Taj Mohidin in his presence. “Today’s inauguration function was all out PDP show. There were mostly PDP MLAs, MLCs, and defeated candidates. So it was more a party function than an official function,” MLA Khansahab added. Besides, CM, Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir, Minister for PHE, I&FC, Sukhnandan Kumar, Minister for Public Works, Floriculture, Gardens & Parks, Syed Altaf Bukhari and Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone, were present on the occasion.
