Resolution of Kashmir issue necessary to save south Asia from wars and clashes, Pakistani premier Muhammad Nawaz Shareef’s proposals at UN general assembly for lasting peace and prosperity, positive and reasonable. This was stated by the chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik in a press release issued today. According to a statement issued to KNS, commenting upon the proposals of Pakistani premier Muhammad Nawaz Shareef for establishment of lasting peace and prosperity at UN general assembly, Yasin Malik said that proposals like withdrawal of forces from Jammu Kashmir, resolution of Jammu Kashmir issue for peace and prosperity, accepting Kashmiris as prime party to the dispute etc. are positive and reasonable. He said that Kashmir issue is a humanitarian issue that has at one hand consumed three generations of Kashmiris and on other hand is constantly putting people of India and Pakistan in a continuous conflict, anarchy, division and clash and hence has jeopardized their prosperity and welfare as well. He said that Kashmir is a land that has the largest concentration of military and forces and which is facing a continuous threat of war and clashes and there will be nothing big and good than demilitarizing this land. Yasin Malik said that people of Jammu Kashmir are the owners of Kashmir and prime party to the dispute on Jammu Kashmir and no solution can be found by ignoring them or pushing them to the wall. He said that for a peaceful and prosper sub-continent, India and Pakistan will have to make every effort for a resolution of Jammu Kashmir issue and for that inclusion of Kashmiris in the dialogue process and finding a solution that is in accordance to the sacrifices, aspirations and wishes of Kashmiris is necessary. Yasin Malik hoped that the positive proposals of Pakistani Prime Minister Jenab Muhammad Nawaz Shareef will be reciprocated by the other side and will take positive steps for establishment of real peace and prosperity. Terming the brutal murder of a Muslim in UP India by some Hindu chauvinists as act of state sponsored terrorism, Yasin Malik said that the religious fanatics and communal forces have been let loose in India and their criminal acts are a glaring example of minorities being unsafe in India now. He said that a Muslim and his young son were lynched to death by fanatics in broad day light for allegedly consuming beef and this shows the extent of brutal behavior that these fanatics can act with. He said that on one hand government patronage of these criminal elements is responsible for these murders and on the other hand criminal silence of civil society and those wearing Ghandi Jees Khadi is also responsible for the growth of these hate mongers and killers. Yasin Malik said that selective justice delivered by Indian judiciary is also responsible for this fanatic growth which every now and then order death sentences and life imprisonments to Muslims but remains in slumber when it comes to terrorist acts like Mecca Masjid blast, Maligoan blasts, Samjota train blasts, Gujrat killings, and other terrorist acts like these in which Hindu chauvinists are involved. Meanwhile JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has paid rich tribute to martyr Bilal Ahmad Beigh (Babloo) who was martyred by Indian forces in custody in year 1999. While paying tributes to the great martyr, Yasin Malik said that his sacrifices and struggle can never be forgotten and we all today remember him with wet eyes and pray for his heavenly abode.
