United Jihad Council Chief Syed Sallahudin has paid rich tributes to the two militants who were killed in Hari Parigaam village of Tral tehsil in South Kashmir on Sunday in an encounter with army and police. In a emailed statement to KNS, Hizbul Mujahiden spokesman Saleem Hashmi quoting UJC chief said that the blood of martyrs will not go in vain and he asked the people of the Jammu and Kashmir to respect the sacrifices of the martyrs. Hashmi said that Salahuddin while presiding a meeting of Hizb Command Council insisted that the Indian Army forces cannot suppress the desires of the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir. “The struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir against Indian occupation is gaining strong ground on political, diplomatic and military front. And this progress has mentally disturbed the Indian military and the Indian government,” Hashmi quoted UJC chief as saying. The UJC chief also said the ban on beef, internet, and arresting of youth for posting voices of dissent on Twitter and Facebook are visible examples of Inida’s frustration in Kashmir. Sallahuddin also paid tributes to Hizb militant Abdu Hameed alias Mohammad Shakir of Banihal who died on Monday after a brief illness. He also condoled the death mother of Hurriyat activist Noor Mohammad Kalwal.
