Senior IPS officer, Dilbagh Singh has handed over the charge of Managing Director J&K Police Hopusing Corporation (PHC) to Arun Kumar Choudhary, IPS IGP here. Singh, who is of ADGP rank, held the charge for more than two years. An official of the PHC during his tenure, Singh laid special emphasis on financial and physical progress of the Corporation resulting into earning of more than Rs 40 crores profit. “Also the profit per share for the last financial year reached over Rs 600 during his tenure. It was the relentless and unflinching efforts on the part of Dilbag Singh that the JK PHC got more than 248 important projects with a work value of Rs. 249 crores,” the official said. During floods, the official said, PHC under the leadership of Singh offered a helping hand to September 2014 flood victims by way of donating an amount of Rs. 51 lakhs towards Chief Ministers Relief Fund. “IN addition, the size and shape of the Corporation was given a new look and direction with a perfect balancing of administrative and execution of different works,” he said, adding, his contribution to change the face of Corporation has been immense and his inspirational guidance would always be a motivating factor for the organistation to grow.
