On the occasion of 3Ist Death Anniversary of Former Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress held a meeting of Prominent Party Leaders, MLAs, and Office Bearers at Party Headquarters Srinagar. Describing Madam Gandhi as Iron Lady of the Country, Peerzada said that she had never compromised on the integrity of the Nation and never allowed any force within or outside country to harm the communal harmony of the Country. Terming her a visionary and an upright personality, Peerzada said that Madam Gandhi has taken the prestige of the country to the new high heights in the field of defense, science technology, education, she was capable of defeating forces posing threat the integrity of the Country, he said.
