Srinagar: With just two days left for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, militants this evening attacked a paramilitary CRPF camp in Khanyar area of city resulting in injuries to four forces personal. Official sources told GNS that the militants lobbed a grenade towards 82 CRPF stationed in Ikhwan Hotel here in Khanyar. The grenade, they said, exploded with a big bang and four personal were injured due to its splinters. Soon after the attack, police and CRPF contingents rushed to the area and cordoned off whole area. The CRPF spokesman told Global News Service (GNS) that four of their men have been injured in the blast. “I am on the spot. We are assessing the situation and it seems it was a small intensity blast not a grenade. Our men have not received splinter injuries,” he said.
