Strongly Condemning and denouncing the killing of Gowhar Nazir Dar, the 22 yr old student from Mustafabad, Zainakote by the Indian forces, Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Sunday said the the PDP-BJP combines policy of ‘Boli say nahi goli say ‘ was the mantra they had adopted to rule the state and stay in power. Mirwaiz, who has been under house arrest for the past one week, while paying glowing tributes to the martyred student, said Gowhar’s killing had once again punctured the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s balloon of fooling the people by talking to them about imaginary ideas of Jhamooriyat (democracy), Kashmiriyat (Kashmir’s pluralistic traditions) and Insaniyat (humanity). Terming the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s talk in Srinagar about resolving the problem of Kashmir by providing jobs and employment opportunities to the youth ,as bizzare and fallacious propaganda Mirwaiz said that such Deception will in no way change the reality of the Kashmir issue which Mr Modi and his ilk know very well but want to dodge and not admit Hurriyat (M) Chairman said the killing of an innocent student in cold blood even on the day the Prime Minister of India was in Kashmir, though nothing new for us as we are witnessing such brutality for the past 3 decades, reiterates the Dictatorial and tyrannical attitude of India in collaboration with its shameless stooges in Jammu Kashmir, towards the people of Kashmir especially the youth , whom they want to eliminate. Mirwaiz said that it is the Kashmiri youth who are spearheading this movement of truth and justice for the past several decades and who are relentlessly striving for achieving their basic right of self-determination by offering the sacrifices of their life. He said that the people of Kashmir have once again given a strong message to the Prime Minister of India on his arrival and to the world, by protesting and observing complete shutdown, with regard to what they really want. Condemning the house arrests of the resistance leaders and arrests and harassment of Hurriyat workers and activists he said imposing undeclared curfew, restrictions and curbs on people to facilitate the pm rally, should serve as an eye opener for the international community as to what the ground reality of Kashmir is Hurriyat (M) Chairman thanked people of Kashmir for observing a complete shutdown on the arrival of Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Kashmir and urged the international community to take note of this protest and understand the aspirations of the people behind this protest and shutdown and come forward to play their role in resolving the vexed Kashmir issue.
