Chairman Democratic Party Nationalist and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir Saturday alleged that Mufti led government is “taking care of only Syed families across the Valley thereby ignoring other families.” In a statement to KNS, Mir said that the present regime has miserably failed to redress the problems faced by the people here. “Every family except Syeds have been ignored since the new dispensation was formed in the state,” he said. He said that for the recruitment process in police department, special team has been invited by the state government to recruit the youth here. “It is unfortunate that Kashmiri people are being recruited by the Gujratis. Aren’t any police officials honest here who could recruit the youth for the department,” Mir said. He further stated that the potholed roads and unscheduled power cuts in the Valley was an clear example of the failure of the state government.
