Authorities in the GB Pant Hospital here have formed a team of doctors and officials to provide counseling to the attendants visiting the hospital. GMC Principal Dr Kaisar Ahmad told KNS that patientcare in all the GMC’s associated hospital will be top most priority and such steps are aimed at that. Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr Shafqat Khan told KNS that the move was aimed to streamline and remove the difficulties of the attendants who visit with their infant patients. The committee comprises of Dr Rehana, consultant Incharge, senior PG of Paediatrics, Shugufta Khursheed, nutritional counselor, Abdul Wakeel, child psychologist, Rubana. “This will improve further patients care in the hospital,” Dr Khan said, adding that the arrangement shall be a part of regular Standard Treatment Protocol for health care delivery in the hospital and shall be followed in letter and spirit.
