Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Monday expressed grief and shock over the death of the mother of senior resistance leader and Duktaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Syeda Asiya Andrabi and sympathized with the bereaved family. In his condolence message to KNS, the Mirwaiz termed the deceased a kind and gentle person who faced numerous hardships and problems during the ongoing resistance movement yet always kept her spirits alive and remained steadfast. On the occasion, the Hurriyat (M) Chairman prayed to the Almighty Allah for granting Jannat-ul-Firdous to the deceased and forberance to her bereaved family. Senior Hurriyat (M) leaders Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Javed Ahmad Mir participated in the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of the deceased and expressed sympathy and solidarity with Syeda Asiya Andrabi and the bereaved family. Meanwhile a delegation comprising of Muhammad Musadiq Adil, Ghulam Nabi Zaki, and several other Hurriyat (M) leaders and activists visited the Chanapora, Srinagar residence of the deceased.
