While paying rich and glorious tributes to the two youths Manzoor Ahmad and his another associate who were martyred in a gunfight with the Indian occupational forces at Goosu Pulwama, Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani said that these brave hearts of our nation are sacrificing their youth-hood for the liberation of this land and put down a heavy responsibility on us to protect these sacrifices and carry forward the freedom struggle in any way and at any cost. Syed Ali Geelani said that the loss of precious human lives continue to occur due to the instable and uncertain political situations in Jammu & Kashmir and all its responsibility lies with the Indian government who instead of respecting the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people are using rigid, arrogant and stubborn approach and want to continue their forced and illegal occupation here with the help of its military power. On the directions of Syed Ali Geelani a Hurriyat (G) delegation comprises of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Pulwama Sayed Mohi-ud-din Andrabi, Bashir Ahmad Qurashi and other district officials Thursday visited Pulwama and participated in the funeral prayers of the martyred Muhajideens which were led by Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Bashir Ahmad Qurashi and paid rich and glorious tributes to them at the occasion. In a statement to KNS, Syed Ali Geelani said that the rigid and stubborn policies of Indian rulers are forcing our beloved youths to abandon colleges and universities and they are taking the path of the brave hearts. While paying rich tributes to the martyred youths of Pulwama, Syed Ali Geelani said that the martyrs of our nation put heavy responsibility on us to carry forward their mission till the desired goal is achieved. Syed Ali Geelani said that our nation used peaceful and democratic ways for about 40 long years to oppose the Indian forced occupation but this country paid no heed to those peaceful voices and tried hard to muzzle the peaceful voices with the help of its military power. He further said that the rigidity and arrogance of India will lead them nowhere and nor can this policy address the Kashmir issue but this disputed region will continue to influence the political, social and economical condition of the whole sub-continent region. Syed Ali Geelani said that India tried every method to buy the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people but they not only miserably failed in that but their policies became a sort of nourishment for the freedom movement to grow stronger. Syed Ali Geelani said that our youths have and are continuously sacrificing their precious lives for the better future of our nation and now it is our responsibility to protect these sacrifices and not to come into the deceitful policies of the pro-Indian parties who are lengthening our journey to freedom.
