The EJAC President & Chairman J&K Teachers Forum Ab. Qayoom Wani deeply condoled the sad demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed the Hon’ble Chief Minister of J&K State and patron of Peoples Democratic Party. In a statement to KNS, while expressing his deep condolences the EJAC President said that the State has lost a great political leader and his death has caused a great void in the state politics Wani paid rich and glowing tributes and remembered his qualities and contribution. The EJAC President expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved family especially Mehbooba Mufti the MP & President People’s Democratic Party and prayed to Allah for the peace of the departed soul and may rest in Jannat. Later on the directions of EJAC President Ab. Qayoom Wani, a condolence meeting was held at the office of a Employees Joint Action Committee wherein the late leader was remembered to and the participants paid glowing tributes to the departed leader who lost his battle of life at AIIMS New Delhi. The meeting expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and it was said that the state has lost a veteran political leader and a joint Fateh was read for the solace of the departed soul and may Allah grant him Jannat.
