Office work and training activities resumed at Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), Pampore campus on Monday, nine days after the February 20 gunfight. The programme verticals of JKEDI including Community Mobilization and Engagement, Business Assistance and Support Services, Project Management and Implementation Services, Centre for Trainings and Skill Development, Start-Up Finance Institution, HR, Utilities and Support, Finance and Accounts and Credit Appraisal and Management Department started the normal work in their respective makeshift offices in the hostel complex of the institute. The institute staff showed dedication in making JKEDI resume the office work along with training of aspiring entrepreneurs amid reconstruction in shortest possible time. Before starting the training activities today a special prayer meet was organized in the hostel complex to pay tributes to JKEDI Gardening Attendant, Late Abdul Ghani Mir. The prayer meet was attended by JKEDI staff and 140 trainees including females who prayed for peace to the departed soul. Impressed with the decision of JKEDI staff to donate one day salary, the trainees on the occasion expressed their will to offer financial help to the family of Late Mir.
