Srinagar, April 13: Complete shutdown is being observed in Kashmir against the killings of two youth and a woman in Handwara town on Tuesday.
Shops, business units and schools have been closed while the public transport is off the roads.
Authorities have imposed strict restrictions in parts of the city that fall under jurisdictions of six police stations, including Rainawari, Nowhatta, MR Gunj, Khanyar, Safakadal and Maisuma.
The restrictions have been imposed to thwart protests by the people against the killings.
However, the Sikh community which is celebrating Baisakhi festival will be allowed to move during the day.
