SRINAGAR, MAY 10: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh and Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar have felicitated the J&K youth who have qualified the Civil Services Examination (IAS) this year.
Dr Singh and Akhtar have extended special greetings to Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi Khan of Devipora, Mattan, Anantnag for bagging second position in the prestigious examination.
The Deputy Chief Minister and the Education Minister said that it was heartening to note that a sizeable number of students from Jammu and Kashmir have qualified the IAS examination this year also.
They said Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi Khan has brought laurels to the State after Shah Faesal who became the first boy from J&K to top the prestigious IAS examination in 2009.
