Srinagar | May 13 : Dukahtaran-e-Millat chairperson, Mohtarma Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Friday urged the government of Pakistan to toughen its stand against the government of Bangladesh and pressurize it to put a stop to the merciless execution of pro-Pakistan people in that country.Andrabi’s reaction has come in wake of the execution of head of the Jamaat-e-Islami party in Bangladesh Motiur Rahman Nizami who was hanged on May 11 for his pro-Pakistan stance. In a statement, she said that Pakistan’s proactive and swift decisions in this regard can save the lives of 173 innocent people who have been enlisted for execution by the oppressive Bangladeshi regime led by the tyrant Sheikh Hasina. She said that Pakistan’s continuous silence over the issue was not only leading to the murders of innocent pro-Pakistan leadership in Bangladesh but was raising apprehensions among the Kashmiri resistance leadership. She said that to express her concerns and apprehensions over the issue, she called the Pakistani High Commissioner in India, Dr Abdul Basit, and urged him to convey the apprehensions to the government of Pakistan. “What was the crime of late Motiur Rahman Nizami and people like him? Their only fault was that they believed in Pakistan and the two nation theory and worked for the supremacy of Islam and the Muslims,” she said.“Similarly, we consider Kashmir’s resistance against India as a struggle for completion of Pakistan and we also say that it is an unfinished agenda in the sub-continent. We too want to be with Pakistan on the basis of being Muslims and followers of Islam. But if Pakistan fails to safeguard the lives of its well-wishers in Bangladesh, what will happen to us (Kashmiri leadership),” she told Basit over phone.“There is a concern among the pro-resistance people and the leadership in Kashmir over Pakistan’s silence on this grave issue. I put forward all the concerns and apprehensions that have arisen among Kashmiris due to these merciless hangings and subsequent silence of the Government of Pakistan during my conversation with the Pak High Commission,” she added She said that the Pak High commissioner assured her that the Government of Pakistan will soon announce its decision to pressurize the Bangladeshi government to put a halt on further executions. “I hope that the government of Pakistan announces it decision in this regard to the satisfaction of pro-Pakistan leadership of Kashmir, Bangladesh and more importantly to the satisfaction of its own people,” she added. She said that the protests by the people of Pakistan and a demand for putting pressure on Bangladeshi oppressive regime to stop these murders was a welcome step. “We know that many people in Bangladesh oppose the repressive policies of Sheikh Haseena, they need to be safeguarded.”She said that the tyrant Shiekh Haseena has muzzled the voices of not only the Ulema in Bangladesh but of the common masses there. She said that Bangladeshi repression on its people was due to Indian influence in the country. “History stands witness to the fact that India has been opposing Pakistan and hatching conspiracies against this country since the beginning,” she said.“ Breaking of Pakistan into two parts was a conspiracy hatched by India which was acknowledged by the then Prime Minister of India , Indira Gandhi and she took pride in saying that she was responsible in dividing Pakistan in two parts. Even nowadays, her grandson, Rahul Gandhi boasts that his grandmother divided Pakistan in two parts,” she said.“Narendra Modi also claims that he has been a part of the volunteers group who went to Bangladesh to fight against Pakistan. India has been hatching conspiracies against Pakistan from the day first of its origin and the Bangladeshi government is their partner in crime,” she added.
