SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will pay a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from Saturday to hold meetings with various delegations following the massive clashes in the valley that have left over 45 people dead.
“Rajnath Singh will hold meetings with various delegations in his two-day visit to Srinagar, and Jammu and Kashmir,” an official statement said.
Curfew and separatist-called protest shutdown have marred life across the Valley for the 14th day running on Friday.
The unrest began after the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani by security forces on July 8. Wani was a popular face of militancy with a huge following on social media. (IANS)
