Baramulla : Students protest continue in north kashmir against the GDC Pulwama incident where more than 50 students injured by forced action last month.
According to reports students of Government Degree college Handwara in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district saturday held massive protests against what they called highhandedness of forces particularly against student community in Kashmir.
The protesting students marched raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans and pelted stones on police and forces, local sources said.
They said that forces resorted to tear smoke shelling against the protesting students creating tension in the area.
Meanwhile when contacted Branch Medical Officer Handwara told Kashmir Monitor that we recieved 17 injujred students as of now and among seven students recieved serious injuries further added that orthers recieved minor injuries.
