Srinagar, Sep 6 (GNS): A 22-year-old from Noorbagh area of Srinagar died on spot after a motorbike stunt, he was trying, went horribly wrong on Wednesday evening.
Official sources told news agency Global News Service (GNS) that the incident took place near Hazratbal in outskirts of Srinagar when Suhail Ahmad Mattoo son of Javaid Ahmad Mattoo, a resident of Noorbagh Srinagar was practicing stunt on his bike bearing registration number JK01AE-4601.
A concerned police officer said that preliminary investigations have revealed that while performing the stunt, the youth got smacked with a road divider and fell topsy-turvy. He suffered head injuries and was immediately shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. However, the officer said, Suhail was declared brought dead by the doctors.
In recent past, bike stunts have seen surge and people have requested police to keep a check on it.
People said that the parents of these children also need to counsel their wards and inculcate a sense of traffic rules in them to prevent such tragic accidents. (GNS)
