Sopore : Panic gripped at Tujjer sherif area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning when three women and a man were injured in a bear attack.
According to reports a bear attacked three women and a man when they were grazing their cattle in the jungle at Tujjer Sherif area of Sopore town on Thursday.
Reports said that all injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment.
Meanwhile doctors at Sub District Hospital Sopore confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that three women including a man were injured in a bear attack, and were identified as Posha Begum wife of Mohammad Ramzan Lone, Sakeena Begum wife of Nayeem Ahmed Lone, Zahida Begum wife of Mohammad Yousuf Lone and Mushtaq Ahmed Malik son of Ghulam Mohammad all are residents of Tujjer Sherif, Doctors at Sopore hospital further added that Zahida Begum has been reffered to SMHS Srinagar for advance treatment.
Meanwhile police told Kashmir Despatch that a report has been registered in this regard.
