Baramulla : Kashmir schools continue to destroy the carrier of students, in yet another bizarre episode where after private Institute a Government run institute failed to provide roll number slips to students at Limber area of Boniyar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
According to students we could not appear in the 10th examination after the school failed to provide roll number slips to us, the protesting students told that school has not issued admit cards in their favour for enabling them to appear in the annual matriculation examination that started from Thursday in kashmir Valley.
The students added that our concern principal hardly visits school, however the deputy Principal of the institute always is busy to take care of his relatives who even were not regularly attending school.
Parents while talking with Kashmir Despatch told that our 22 students who missed to be part of matriculation examination which starts on last day in kashmir due to negligence of school authorities who failed to provide roll number slips to students, the parents added that we were continuously visiting the institute for the career of our children till the last stage authorities at Government High School Limber Boniyar played with our sentiments and are the responsible for destroying the future of our children.
Assistant Director Bose Uri told The Kashmir Despatch that school authorities had submitted us a list of those students who were in shortage list, he added that as per Government order students should have 60 percent attendance then only they are eligible for appearing in the examination.
Meanwhile Chief Education Officer Baramulla Abdul Ahad told Kashmir Despatch we can’t go against government order, we have to work as per the order, he said that due to the shortage of attendence those students were not giving roll number slips.
