CRPF Sends 32 Baramulla Football Players On ‘Banglore Tour’

Baramulla : The 53 Bn of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has sent 32 football players on Banglore tour, who recently played in the football tournament organised by the CRPF in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

Commandant of 53 Bn CRPF Vinay Kumar Tiwari said the aim for sending them Banglore is to engage such talented youth in sports sothat they get an exposure. Added that such tours will inspire them and will boost their talent and therefore they will play with their hearts in every performance. Commandant said that this kind of programme is another step to remove alienation between security forces and locals and boost strong bonding between them.

One of the player who hails from St Joseph School Baramulla told that tournament was held by 53 bn (CRPF) in Baramulla. It was announced that the two finalist teams will be taken on a tour. It will be a huge exposure for all of us as we will get to learn about different kinds of sports and will be aware about many things which we are lacking in kashmir.

Under the Civil Action Programme CRPF 53 Bn organised tour for Baramulla Football players will visit Bangalore on a five day programme, where they be taken to different historical places apart they will play football matches with local clubs in Banglore.

The tour was flagged off, earlier, by Commandant 53 Bn CRPF in presence of officers from CRPF and JKP.
