Sopore Veterans beat Baramulla Veterans in Friendly Cricket Match

Sopore : A friendly cricket match was played between veterans of twin towns of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Sunday at Subhana Stadium Sopore.

The players of age above 45 years participated in the match. Sopore Veterans defeated Baramulla Veterans by 6 wickets.

Batting first Baramulla Veterans scored 122 Runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the 20 over match.
Chasing 122 runs to win Sopore Veterans completed target in 16 overs only with losing only four wickets.
Mushtaq Ahmed was top scorer with 69 runs and was declared man of the match later.

The friendly cricket match was sponsored and organised by AK legals Baramulla.

Meanwhile Chief organiser of AK legals Baramulla Azim Pandith said that the aim of organising the match was to provide a source of enjoyment for the fans and viewers across twin towns and also to encourage the upcoming talent in order to develop budding cricketers in the district.
