Bandipora : Patients and their attendants on Friday claimed that they are facing immense hardships due to unavailability of doctors in government run hospital at Bandipora in North Kashmir.
The angry patients shared with Kashmir Despatch over phone that they were of the view that they had come from far flung areas of the district to the hospital for medical treatment but there were no doctors available at the health facility. The patients complained that they had been facing great problems due to the unavailability of doctors.
They said that the doctors are spending most of their time at their clinics and are not paying attention towards the patients who are visiting the hospital from far flung areas.
Meanwhile authorities at District Hospital Bandipora when contacted told Kashmir Despatch that action would be taken against the doctors if found guilty of dereliction of duty.
