Shutdown, clashes in Sopore one injured

Sopore, Sep 14 : Sopore parts on Friday witnessing a complete shutdown against the killing of a Hurriyat activist.
While following the Hurriyat call , All business establishments are closed while public transport is also off the roads in parts of Sopore.
Hurriyat activist Hakim-ul-Rahman was killed by unidentified gunmen near his house in Bomai area of Sopore on Sep 8.
Meanwhile earlier this day one person was injured in a clashes which reported at Arampora arae of Sopore against the killing of two militants.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that scores of youth gathered at Arampora side and started shouting anti-India and pro-freedom slogans. Slogans were also raised in favour of yesterday-killed two Foriegn Jaish militants in town.
The protesting youth started throwing stones on forces deployed in the area. The forces in turn fired teargas shells at the youth resulting in injuries to one youth.
However injured youth was rushed to Sub-District Hospital Sopore for treatment.
Meanwhile hospital authorities identified injured youth as Zahoor Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohammad resident Sopore.
Pertainally,In view of the shutdown call authorities have announced the closure of all educational institutions across Sopore division as “a precautionary measure.
