Srinagar, Nov 15 : Continuing its fight against drug menace Police Station Tangmarg apprehended a person namely Firdous Ahmad Magray S/O Abdul Ahad Magray R/O Shrai Tangmarg with 70 grams of charas like substance and 590 grams of canabis straw.
The said person is a chronic drug peddler. Accordingly FIR no 124/2020 under relevant sections of law was lodged in police station Tangmarg and investigation taken up.
SDPO Tangmarg Hilal Khaliq Bhat (JKPS) reiterated that we are all out against drug peddlers and request parents to be vigilant with respect to their wards and their friends. SHO Tangmarg SI Md. Shafi revealed that it is 12th FIR of this nature this year.
People are requested to inform nearest Police Station of Police Subdivision Tangmarg as and when they get to know regarding drug abuse in the area.
