GMC Bla Deliberately Delaying in Information alleges RTI activist

Baramulla, Nov 15: A Right to Information Act (RTI) activist from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday alleged that Govt. medical college Baramulla is deliberately delaying in giving reply to an RTI filled months back.

An RTI activist namely Siraj-Ud-Din Salam filled an RTI Application on 21/09/2020 in order to collect information about the casted subject but sofar no information seemed to be dispatched by the concerned officials besides that administrative officer at GMC Baramulla issued office Memo vide no:-GMC/BLA/Adm/2020/1683-88 dated:-26-09-2020 to medical officer stores, accounts officer and Medical Superintendent AH/GMC Baramulla but no information provided, later administrative officer GMC Baramulla issued office Memo vide No:-GMC/BLA/Adm/2020/1768-73 dated 29/10/2020 and GMC/BLA/Adm/2020/1779-84 dated 03/11/2020 officer, after the time interval of 30 days Applicant filed First Appeal Respectively but still none of the expected information was provided even higher officials reminded to concern officials of GMC still no reaction was observed, he alleged.
