J&K Students Association distances itself from fake Facebook Page, WhatsApp Groups

J&K Students Association, a registered Students body of Kashmiri students outside registered under Registrar of Socities Kashmir, act Vi of 1998 (1941 A.D.). In a Statement issued, President of Association Mushtaq Ahmad said that, we want to inform that J&K Students Association distances itself and strongly condemns the plagiarism by a fake imposter Facebook page, twitter account titled ‘J&K Students Association’ out to malign our Organization.

He said that Association requests Student Community and well-wishers not to pay any heeds to this fake page, fake twitter account and Fake WhatsApp Groups spreading Fabricated and Concoted things. He said that, the said page is spreading the false news at the cost of J&K Students Association’s reputation. We request all Followers and Students not to fall prey to such false news and fake pages.

Mushtaq urged Students to the report this page as spam so that it is removed from Facebook, twitter as well. He said that Association bears no responsibility for the content uploaded on J&K Students Association’s fake page. He said that, We have already filed a complaint against the mischief monger who is spreading fake news in the name of J&K Students Association. He said that Fake Facebook and twitter accounts created to dupe people. He said that Association has not authorised any person for any activity on its behalf.

He urged Students to be aware and to please report any activity of individuals claiming to be collecting for the signs. Requesting people that Please refrain from such things and not to make association Fool, he added.
