Srinagar : Pakistan army continued ceasefire violation by resorting to heavy mortar shelling and heavy firing targeting civilian areas along the line of control (LOC) in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district officials said on Wednesday.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that Pakistan army resorted to firing on forward posts along the LoC in Hajipeer sector of Border town Uri on early Wednesday triggering panic and fear among the residents. However, no one was injured.
Following ceasefire violation”four affected families were moved to Government middle School Uri, where local administration will take care of their needs, the official added.

All the essential facilities will be provided to the these affected families an official in civil administration told Kashmir Despatch.
Pertainally Around 11 families with 9 females and 11 children have already been evacuated from Churunda and had kept them at a Girls Higher Secondary School in Uri by local administration last month after Pakistan army continued targeted civilian area in Uri.
