Two employees of health department suspended in Poonch

Poonch, March 23 : Authorities on Monday suspended two employees of health department for remaining unauthorized absent in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“In view of Noval Coronavirus pandemic all over the country and in the world as already repeated order of U/S that all sort of leave stand cancelled and all staff will remain present at their place of posting,” reads an order issued by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Mendhar, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan.

In violation of this Mrs Ferdose Jabeen under NHM NTPHC Balnoi is found unauthorized absent from duty for many days and even without any permission. Her whereabouts is not known to this office, the order reads.

“In view of this she is relieved and directed to report office of Chief medical officer Poonch, with the recommendation for her termination from NHM contract,” the order reads.

In another separate order by BMO Mendhar reads: “On emergency situation due to COVID-19 all kind of leave cancelled except Maternity leave vide director family welfare circular no. DFW/JK/Est/circular/14666-712 dated 18-03-2020 and this office circular no.BMO/MDR/1845-49 dated 22-03-2020. smt. Tasveer Begum FMPHW sub. Centre Kishti Balnoi found unauthorized absent from duty for last many days”.

She is placed under suspension with immediate effect and relieved from this block with the directions to report to chief Medical officer Poonch for further duties with immediate effect, the order added. (GNS)
