Srinagar, Mar 28: Former National Conference leader Ab. Rashid Shaheen has withdrawn from Parliament election race and pledged support to National Conference candidate.
Speaking to news agency, Shaheen, however, said that he has not re-joined the party formally as of now, but said he would support NC Candidate.
He said he has done that on the persuasion of his old party colleagues. Shaheen however, told that there was no commitment from NC leadership in lieu of his withdrawal from the elections as of now. (RNA)
