SRINAGAR, July 23: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided the residence of Shabir Ahmad Makroo, a trader affiliated with LoC Trade at Nund Reshi Colony B, Bemina Srinagar, this morning.

Sources said that the raid started at around 9:30 am and was on, when this report was filed. The raid is related to some inputs regarding cross LoC trade.

Eyewitnesses said that the CRPF contingents laid cordon of the area in wee hours and the police escorted the team of NIA who raided the residence of Makroo. The house was searched for incriminating documents, sources in police said.
