Srinagar: A 20-year-old girl died on Saturday morning after she fell down from the rooftop of her three-storey house in Noorbagh area of Srinagar.
An eyewitness said that a girl identified as Masrat Jan, daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Kaloo, a resident of Shaheen Mohallah Noorbagh Srinagar fell down from the attic of her third storey house while doing some daily chores around 10: 00 in the morning.
Soon after Masrat fell down, she was immediately rushed to the hospital where she breathed her last.
According to family sources, the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of the deceased will be at 1:00 pm at her ancestral graveyard Waniyar Chowk, Srinagar.
Besides teaching at a local Darsgah, Masrat was associated with philanthropy works from a very long time.(KL)
