Government Spokesperson on Friday said that first flight with over 160 students from Bangladesh are set to land in Srinagar this afternoon.
He in a tweet said that efforts are on to take back students,other stranded people from parts of world and more flights are expecting next week.
In an another Tweet Rohit Kansal said return of stranded people picks up pace. Nearly 2800 arrived yesterday via Lakhanpur. Over 3000 students, labourers, others from Pb, HP, Chd, HY, UK expected today. Total number of returnees now over 33000. THANK YOU all for your patience and cooperation.
Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Students Association Spokesperson Nasir Khuehami in a tweet said headed for home- The first Flight (Airindia) from Dhaka to Sgr Kmr with 167 passengers left for india at around 11 am today.All those being evacuated are medical students.
