Srinagar, Oct 2 (KNS): Expressing anguish over the detention of Dukhtaran-e- Millat chief Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, Lashkar-e-Toiba chief Mehmood Shah Friday alleged that people of Jammu and Kashmir are being denied their fundamental rights. In a statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Gazanvi quoted LeT chief saying that, “If India thinks that with oppression they can suppress the voice for freedom in Kashmir, then India is wrong as they must know that the fourth generation of Kashmir is giving their blood for the freedom.” He said that despite court bailing out Andrabi thrice, she was re-arrested. He appealed international human rights bodies to intervene and stop the ongoing “Indian oppression”. He said that so called religious bodies called for the meetings to eliminate terrorism in the world but at the same time they close their eyes on the injustice and oppression meted out by the Muslims. He also demanded that Andrabi along with other detainees should be released at the earliest.
