Police has arrested three persons, including two Consumers Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) drivers, for allegedly dumping two sugar laden trucks in Chanapora for black marketing in Srinagar and has launched investigations. The three arrested persons have been identified as Hilal Ahmad of Bemina, Hilal Ahmad Dagga of Zewan and Ghulam Hassan of HMT Srinagar and have been booked under FIR 178/2015. A police team led by SDPO Syed Iqbal after getting a tip off about the two sugar trucks, carrying 90 quintals, being sold in black market, arrested the trio at Budshah Nagar here, During investigation the trio has revealed the names of some Assistant directors, supervisers, and store keepers, who are involved in the crim, a police official said. They have revealed that the sugar was meant for public disttribution in Kulgam, Srinagar and Budgam districts during the Moharram occasion. The trucks were loaded from CAPD main store in Shaheed Gung. Police has launched investigations to expose all those officials who are part of the crime.
