Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senior Leader and Minister Public Works, Floriculture and Gardens & Parks has expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of noted socio-political activist Haji Abdul Ghani Dar of Rawalpora who passed away Monday. In a condolence message, Bukhari, who is outside country, recalled his association with the deceased in the past many years and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear their loss. Bukhari described the death of Dar as a huge personal loss, adding that his social work and the contribution in strengthening the party at grass root level in his area will always be remembered by one and all. “The void left behind by him will be very difficult to fill. His contribution to grass root level development through political activities has been phenomenal. People from all sections of life will continue to admire Dar for his daunting commitment towards people’s welfare,” the Minster for Public Works observed. Conveying his condolences Bukhari expressed deep sympathies and solidarity with the bereaved family.
