Democratic Party Nationalist chairman Ghulam Hassan Mir Sunday said that the Kashmir Valley has a rich talent of sports among its youth and they need to be supported at the government to enhance their skills to make career in sports. Mir was speaking at the final match of the ‘Talent Hunt’ cricket tournament held in Tangmarg between Waripora and Hardibani cricket clubs. Waripora won the tournament. Kashmir’s international cricket icon, Parveez Rasool was the Guest of Honour and Mir was Chief Guest. Rasool was given a hero’s welcome by the youth at the stadium and he appreciated the youth for showcasing their best talent during match. He encouraged them to play cricket. Mir told KNS that three best players in this tournament will be facilitated advanced coaching.
