United Jihad council, an amalgam of various militant outfits, on Saturday termed the talks between India and Pakistan mere drama and dubbed it as New Delhi’s propaganda to portray Kashmir as bilateral issue before the world community. UJC’s General Secretary and Ameer of Tehreek Mujahedeen Sheikh Jameel-ul- Rahman said that such talks were to fail as Kashmir it is not a bilateral but trilateral and international issue. According to the statement issued to Srinagar based news agency GNS, he said that India has been pursuing policy of “genocide” in Jammu and Kashmir and was holding talks on Kashmir issue with Pakistan to change the perception among world community. “We hope Pakistan will stand for us. India by her political approach and dirty policies is trying to portray Kashmir issue as bilateral conflict instead of international dispute,” Jameel-ul- Rahman said, adding, “New wave of killing and disappearances of Kashmiri people by India is matter of concern and India will not be successful in his evil designs”.
