Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Wednesday, extended greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), to be observed on Thursday. In his message, Mufti Sayeed described Islam as the religion of peace and Prophet Mohammad (SAW) as an apostle of love, affection and brotherhood. “Almighty Allah had sent Prophet Mohammad (SAW) as Rehmatal-lil-Alimeen (mercy to the mankind),” he added. Reminding people of the holy Prophet’s (SAW) teachings, the Chief Minister said the holy Prophet (SAW) had tremendous love for humanity in general and compassion for poor and needy in particular. “I pray to Almighty Allah to reignite our heart and souls with the love of the Prophet (SAW) of Islam,” he added.
