Former Agriculture minister and DPN chief Ghulam Hassan Mir on Saturday called on Governor NN Vohra, stating that the waiver over the Kissan credit loan as promised by the earlier budget is yet to be realised. According to KNS correspondent, Mir called on Governor Vohra on Saturday and held detailed discussion with him pertaining to the present political situation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Later Mir requested the Governor to implement the waiver over the Kissan Credit loan as was pitched by the previous regime in its first budget session. Mir said that till date that provision of the budget has not been implemented. Mir while requesting the Governor to pass orders for the implementation of the waiver said it would provide big sigh of relief for those who have lost their crops during the catastrophic floods of the year 2014. Governor has assured Mir that he will look into the matter and will implement it in case the same is in the provision of budget. Reports informed that Mir discussed in detail the present political situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
