Srinagar, May 28: Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Wednesday paid glowing tributes to Asia and Nelofar on their 7th martyrdom anniversary.
Remembering the two martyred daughters of the nation, Salvation Movement expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family and urged people not to lose heart due to these inhuman acts of oppression and suppression.
Blaming Indian government for shielding the culprits involved the double rape and murder of Asia and Nelofar, Salvation Movement spokesman quoting Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat in an issued press statement that Indian forces using rape as the instrument of oppression against the people of the state to crush the sentiments of freedom movement.
“He said that perpetrators of Shopian tragedy are roaming scot free even after seven years as India government is shielding the culprits.” he said. He said that state puppet rulers and authorities on the directions of New Delhi have shown callousness and inherent biases of the ensuing pseudo -investigation because they are using rape and molestation as a state policy to punish and intimidate the civilian population of the state by armed forces in Kashmir.
Urging United Nations to establish international crimes tribunal in Kashmir for prosecuting the armed forces involved in perpetrating genocide against women in Kashmir, spokesman demanded a through probe of Shopian tragedy by the international crime tribunal.
Meanwhile, a high level salvation Movement delegation comprising Molvi Rafiq, Zulfiqar Hameed, Mehraj u din, Mohammad Saleem, Abdul Majeed,Muzaffer Malik,Abdul Razak Khan, Javeed Ahmd, Dawood Ahmad on the directions of Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat, visited Pattan and Sopore paid glowing tributes to martyr Mehraj Ud Din ans Adil Ahmad. They attended the funeral of martyrs and expressed sympathy with the families of martyrs.
