Srinagar | June 11 : In order to ensure that the quality eatables and other items are made available to the general public at reasonable rates, rates fixed by the Govt. and to ensure that there is no black marketing/ overcharging on.
A checking squard headed by Ghulam Mohiudin Tehsildar incharge, Tex inspector Muncipal Council sopore Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Food inspector Mubashir Ahmad went for market checking in north kashmir’s sopore town, the squad imposed fine on the defaulting shopkeepers and on spot a fine of Rs 19600 was collected.
Meanwhile checking squard team also directed the fruit, vegetable, bread sellers to install rate lists on their shops. The general public appreciated the action of the Market checking squad.
