Srinagar | June 18 : While condemning the arrest of Kashmiri medical girl students by Delhi police, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights chairman Mohammad Ahsan Untoo said that once again it proved beyond any doubt that Kashmiris are not safe in any corner of India.
In a press statement, Untoo said that four girl students on the way from Bangladesh were arrested at Delhi International airport just because one of the girl was carrying a bag with bomb written on it.
Untoo said that instead of checking the bag, Delhi police cops arrested the girls and put them to questioning for several hours which is violation of human rights.
He lamented that Delhi police is fond of harassing Kashmiris by any means which in turn puts a big question mark on the claims of so called largest democracy.
Untoo while condemning the act said that National women’s commission and state women’s commission instead of taking sue motto notice of the event preferred to remain silent which speaks loud of their duplicity.
He appealed international human rights organisation to take cognizance of these events and try to pressurise India to provide justice to Kashmiris suffers.
