Srinagar | July 14 : Wearing masks and faces covered, a group of youth today said this time they won’t let this ongoing struggle to meet the same fate of 2008 or 2010 like agitation.
Addressing a press conference at an undisclosed location, the youth first shouted the pro-freedom slogans and later addressed some media-men.
“We have lost many brothers during this freedom struggle movement but this time their sacrifice will not forget, we will continue our struggle till we will get freedom”, said the group of youth.
“We want to send a message to the Government of India, who are on a killing spree in Kashmir, that the state of Jammu and Kashmir is not a part of India. It never was and it never will be. Now the forces of India are killing our brothers, who lead the freedom struggle. We will never stop this movement until independence will come to Kashmir,” they said.
The group further added that Kashmir doesn’t need permission from India to speak for the sufferings of Kashmiri people.
They added, “Indian leaders have lost moral ground to appeal for calm in Kashmir.
The group lashed out at Indian agencies who are working to create disruption and is responsible for the rise of radicalization of youth in Kashmir.
“Kashmir freedom movement would come to its logical end and the Kashmiris would get their right to self-determination” the group said.
They further added that India should know that Kashmiris could not be fooled by announcement of development packages. The Kashmiris, they added, were politically mature and were fully aware of the tricky policies of the pro-Indian politicians.
Terming Hurriyat as an important part of freedom struggle, the group said they are their leaders. “They know better, how to put forward freedom struggle movement. We respect them as the only thing is that we should not fight with each other”.
“No one is aided by anyone, the pro- Indian politicians wants to divide the kashmiris on the basis of religion by their emotional speeches” group members blamed.
They said that on one hand rulers are busy killing and injuring innocent Kashmiris and on the other hand oppressive measures to suppress peoples voices are also going on unabated.
The group claimed that the use of pellet guns by the security forces is a crime against humanity where outside the state forces use water cannons to disperse the protesters but here in Kashmir they use pellets and even bullets not to disperse the crowd but to kill the people.
